Today introducing “solco” a salt specialized shop.
It is placed in the shopping district of Tokoshi Ginza, famous for being the longest in Tokyo.
The outside is simple, and the landmark is the sign that writes “salt” in big letters.
Entering the shop, bottles of salt are lined up like a cosmetic shop atmosphere.
Collected worldwide, there are constantly about 40 types of salt being sold.
Tastings are available for all of them, but tasting is not done only with the salt,
But with the rice that can be purchased in the shop, and by putting salt you want to try on and eating.
I tried a few too, but there were ones that were somewhat sweet, really salty, a little bitter, and was surprised that the tastes differ so much between salts!
Because of the variation, the staffs are often asked for the recommendations,
But tastes differ between people, so they tell customers to try them and find one that they feel tastes good first＾＾
They put a detailed caption for all of the salt, and people purchase them for the taste, the origin and the background of its creation.
Please do go and find your favorite salt♪
