This is the staff of 3rd i connections.
This is part 2 of the chocolate series.
Introducing “Minimal Tomigaya main shop” a store specializing in bean to bar chocolate which is a 6-minute walk from the Yoyogi park^^
This brand name “minimal” is with the thought that comes from the minimal raw material of chocolates which is cacao and this minimal choice is put in the name.
As the name mentions, the material used is only cacao and sugar, and none of milk or butter is used.
The inside of the Tomigaya shop is a two-way counter well selected to make sure that the customer could listen to the staff explain the chocolates and choose the products.
This all comes from wanting to talk about the fascination of chocolates.
And in the far end the workshop is established.
The chocolate here uses rough cut cacao on purpose to make sure that a crunchy mouth touch is kept.
Samples are available depending on the product but trying some would make you realize the effect the different kinds of cacao and the difference of grating has on the taste.
After I bought a chocolate, I had a hot chocolate in the café space.
This hot chocolate was rich and dense and not anything like the one’s I have had before
The cacao particles were also included and would be undeniable for cacao lovers＾＾
The “BRAND STORY” and “ABOUT” page within the brand website has information on how the owner came to know chocolate and the episode until opening the shop, which enables you to understand how thought out the product is.
If you could check these before going to the shop, you may be able to enjoy the chocolates of Minimal a lot more.
